This tour exceeded our expectations! The tastings
were different and kept up our interest (i.e., not all beer or bakery
etc...). Loved the stories about the immigrants and their families!
We felt that the price was a great value for this tour.

AWESOME pizza - I’m actually a little upset that I don’t
have anything like that near my house! We are pizza eaters and I can
truly say it was awesome and I have never had a crust like that. Love
that you gave address, phone AND web info on each place we visited.

We did the tour with 4 friends. All of us loved it.
We got a lot of informations about the town and we sampled a lot of
good food all over the place. It is a nice tour for people visiting
Milwaukee and also for local people. Thanks a lot, we will come again.

Deliciously fun! We were a group of teachers visiting
the city of Milwaukee during one of our teaching conventions. This tour
gave us a fun opportunity to stretch our legs, learn some history of
the city and visit some great places to eat. We highly recommend this
activity especially at the beginning of your trip because it will give
you an opportunity to see what the city has to offer. The tour guide
was very knowledgable too!

Great introduction to the history and food of Milwaukee. Pleasant
walking tour that highlights the history, architecture and food of the
German and Italian area of the city. Excellent guide. The tour gives
you a taste of foods and provides ideas of places where you may want
a full meal later.

Amazing Tour, High Recommended! - I have lived in Milwaukee for
4 years and had a friend in town for the weekend and wanted to show
her around. We love food and culture, so it was terrific finding out
about hidden gems in Milwaukee, and also visiting some local favorites
like the Cheese Mart, Usingers, and Maders. We had a fantastic
time! The guide was very nice and full of interesting architectural
and historical facts and it was well worth the money. I'll be taking
my in-laws back in a few weeks! :)

Fabulous - This was a great experience. We got
to sample local food and hear interesting facts about the area. The
tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. The food was all very good.
I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to the area, and if
I'm in town again, I will definitely go again!

Great combination of history, culture and food
- Nice tourguide, great hints on good places to eat, interesting infos
about the history. Would be great if the owners of the stores tell their
stories such that you can ask them questions.

Awesome Time - Personally I love food, exercising (walking), and
learning about a cities history. This tour is perfect for all three.
I highly recommend this tour! I am a college student and I felt $35
for this tour is a perfect price for having entertainment for three
hours. Being a local I learned more about Milwaukee in this
tour than I have ever known before!

Fun summer outing! A lovely way to explore and eat our way through Milwaukee--even
though our group is local, we learned much from our knowledgeable tour
guide, Theresa. It would be a wonderful way to show off our
city to out-of-town guests.

Pleasant combination of touring and food! This tour was a very enjoyable
way for us to spend 2 1/2 hours on a Friday. Our tour guide, Terri,
was very knowledgeable about the local food scene, as well as local
history and architecture. We dine often in Milwaukee and have been to
all of those restaurants before, but this was a different way to experience
them. The visits to the food stores was a nice touch. I would
strongly recommend this tour for locals to learn more about our Milwaukee
culture and to experience the food scene in a different way.
I hope you will expand these tours to other sections of the city - 3rd
Ward, Walker's Point, Riverwalk...

Spend fun time with friends and LEARN new things! Lovely tour with "new
" friends from Chicago! Lots to sample, interesting new things
to learn about Milwaukee (even though I grew up in Cudahy)... Our guide
was just great! I think she is just perfect for the eat/walk. She took
time to talk to each of us and that made things even more personal.

What a fun way to see the city! My husband and I just loved this tour.
It was a different way to see the city. We enjoyed the walking, as we
felt we experienced the communities we toured and the food was a fun
way to learn about the areas. The tour had a good mixture of food, both
Italian and German, and the establishments that we went into were fun
to see and experience. After the tour, we went back to the Italian area
and stocked up. I hadn't experienced Italian markets and bakeries
like these since I left the northeast 30 years ago. Also, our
tour guide was great! This was her home town and she was very genuine
in her love of the city and very relaxed in how she spoke. She provided
plenty of information on the history of the area and how it had changed
over the years. This was definitely not your typical city tour. I'd
recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of the city and doesn't mind
a little walking that lets you feel like part of the neighborhoods.

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic! This was our first-ever food tour and
it was great. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and Theresa was a wonderful
tour guide. She had all of the stops planned and each had its own local
flavor. The food and drink at each stop was ready when we got there
and several of the places were stops we never would have made otherwise.
Boy, have we been missing out. We went back the next day and visited
over half of the stops and stuck up a friendship with at least one of
the shop owners. We told each of them what a gold mine they had in Theresa.
Not only will we be back on the Milwaukee food tour, we will
now make it a point to visit with other city's food tours on our travels.
